Another feather in the cap! Gloster Cables has recently secured a large repeat order for Fire Survival Cable from one of India’s largest Petrochemical Companies. The In House Testing laboratory of Gloster boasts of the latest and most sophisticated Testing Equipment capable of testing Fire Survival Cables as per BS 6387 not only for “Cat C” (Respect to Fire alone @950ᴼC For 3 hrs) but also For “Cat W” (Respect to Fire with water @650ᴼC for 15 minutes) & “Cat Z” (Respect to Fire, Water with mechanical shock @950ᴼC for 15 minutes).

Every crisis brings along its own opportunities! To overcome the challenges of travel restrictions imposed due to Covid 19 pandemic, Gloster created within a short period of time an outstanding Virtual On-Line Inspection Facility at both its manufacturing Units enabling Inspectors to witness complete Testing From the safety of their homes / Offices. More than 50 such Inspections (Routine / Type / Acceptance) have so far been successfully carried out by Govt / Private Inspection Agencies.

In just under three years, Gloster Cables has supplied over 700 Kms of HT cables (11 KV /33 KV) to various DISCOMS using the Sioplas Curing Process after passing stringent government agency inspections.
