Company’s History

Gloster Cables Limited (GCL) is in the business of manufacturing and selling various types of electrical power cable up to 33 KV, control and instrumentation cables of national and international standards.

The Company was incorporated in 1995 in the name of Crest Cables Limited which was subsequently changed to Gloster Cables Limited.

GCL is an ISO 9001:2015 Company. A comprehensive Quality Assurance Plan and a Quality Manual has been formulated and strictly followed at all stages of operations. Some of its products have been successfully tested and approved by Internationally Reputed Testing Laboratories such as CPRI, ERDA, ETDC, TUV for solar cable etc. In addition to its conventional product profile of LT and HT cables up to 33 KV, Company has very successfully added various types of special cables like Instrumentation Cables, Railway Signaling Cables, Fire Survival Cables, Solar Cables with U/L certification etc. This addition has helped GCL to offer our service to our esteemed customers so as to meet their special requirement with quickest delivery period.

The year 2018-19 and 2019-20 have undergone many in plant changes in installation of new machineries, revamping Test Laboratories including modern testing equipment, construction of new HT line over a passage of two and half years. All such program is constituted with an aim to be at par with technological changes that has taken place in cable industry and to achieve 500 crore turnovers in the year 2020-21. Our Test Laboratory is also under process of awarding accreditation for NABL authority.
